One page, 8vo, closed tears, with no loss of text, edges sunned, sl. crumpled, text obscured on tear (loss of part of one word), but otherwise mainly legible and complete, as follows: As I continue here I trouble you with a line to remind you about getting me some Traders or chapmens tokens esp[ecially] one of Oxford which I should be very thankful for - Mr Gardner of Southwold sent me one of dunwich [sic] & also of Bungay & [?]; so that I have of [sic] most of the Suffolk Towns except Clare & [all?] six other market towns - They will 2 or 3 of them come enclosed in a letter, But for fear of miscarriage [I]f you get Oxford be pleased to send it by itself singly to Him who is Sir [...] The address panel is franked Free | M Glocester.
