"We have ever since we commenced ([...] 18 months ago) been exclusively engaged upon cataloguing the Early English poetry in the Miller Library. | The [?] portion is however arranged & thrown out & I shall be able very soon to answer your enquiry [I]n fact I could do so now but for engagt on a Committee of the House of Commons wch will I fear prevent my going to Britwell for the next fortnight & I don't like to speak from memory in reference to the Bradfords[.] I really very much regret you should have to make this application [...]" Note: Christy Inherited the Library of Book Collector, William Henry Miller (Britwell Court [Library]) in 1852.
