But I am afraid that I cannot in present circumstances see the bookas a proposition for a general publisher. It is Bibliography pure and simple, and does not pretend to deal with Haggard as a writer or to use his career in illustration of developments in publishing history. It should I think properly be issued in a limited edition by some rare book dealer and I wonder whether you have consulted Percy Muir as to possibilities in that direction."
