Professor of Botany, Radcliffe Librarian (d.1834) (From Ratcliffe Accounts). Note: probably ordered from Bohte catalogue in BLC. One page, 4to, edges discoloured, text clear and complete. "Yr parcel reached me not before this evening - Inclosed I send you a Draft for £19.11.6- To make this sum, I include the copy of (10/ to be restored, & deduct 1816["16" sl. raised and underlined] + £2 discount--/ I do this because I have not yet determined whether I shall return Meerburg - & as to <>Willd...?> I shall pay you in about a fortnight by a friend coming to Town - it belongs to a different account & therefore I do not wish to include it in the Draft - If you think the Discount wrong, my friend will correct the error- If I have time, I may perhaps specify <"at"[?] excised and replaced by> on the same <"time" excised> occasion a few other articles wanted -- I suppose there is no Copy of in French, or in Latin.- / I have 3 Fasciculi of the - But the Continuation of I must desire you to reserve for me--" Note: S.G.
