On three skins, with the customary tax stamps and ribbon. In fair condition, with some wear along fold lines of the first skin. The document refers to an agreement between 'Sir William Blizard of Devonshire Square in the City of London Knight of the first part Jane Blizard of Buxton Hill in the County of Surry [sic] Spinster of the second part and John Harkness of Poplar in the County of Middlesex Surgeon William Blizard Harkness of Fenchurch Street in the City of London Surgeon and Priscilla Oak Meredith of Buxton Hill in the County of Surry Widow (Trustees for the purpose of hereinafter mentioned)'. With the signatures of the five parties, together with red wax seals on ribbon, at the foot of the document. Blizard's wife was the sister of his pupil Thomas Blizard (1772-1838), who was both his brother-in-law and half-cousin through their grandfather John Blizard.
