The fold-out map is in good condition, on aged paper, but the rest of the volume is heavily-aged, with the title-leaf and section up to and including p.14 and the first plate with 2 cm closed tears to foredge. Two-page introduction by Pim from the United Service Club, London, September, 1866. Uncommon: no copy in the British Library, and six copies on WorldCat, including two from the UK (Glasgow and Manchester).
