ONE: (Queen Alexandra's card): With Buckingham Palace letterhead and mourning border. In fair condition, on lightly-aged paper. The card reads: 'I wish to express my heartfelt thanks to all the kind Donars, [sic] of the beautiful wreaths & flowers which were sent as tokens of affection in memory of our beloved King'. TWO (Streatfeild's letter): Signed 'Henry Streatfeild | <?> | Equerry'. 2pp., 12mo. On the first leaf of a bifolium with mourning border. In envelope with printed crown and mourning border, addressed by Streatfeild to 'Mrs. Macdougall-Rawson | Millhouse | Halifax'. The letter reads: 'I am commanded by Queen Alexandra to inform you that an answer to the message of condolence from the Girls Friendly Society in the Diocese of Sydney NS.W, which you transmitted to Her Majesty, has been sent direct by Queen Alexandra to the President of the Diocesan Council.'
