Contents include "An Introductory Essay on the Advantages of understanding English Composition", "A small select Literary Library for English Readers, with Remarks", parts of speech, contracted phrases, "Divided and Transposed Sentences", principal figures of speech, "Short Examples of different Kinds of good English Language", "Brief Directions how to form a suitable Style".
