ITEM ONE: engraving of 'CASTLE CORNET, GUERNSEY. | Prinnted for S. Hooper 25 June 1777. | Sparrow Sculpt.' Landscape octavo. Dimensions of print roughly nine and a half inches by six and a half. Very good. Mounted on leaf of ruled paper. ITEM TWO: copy of the first two octavo leaves of the Saturday Magazine for 21 June 1834. Large engraving of 'HIGH-STREET, GUERNSEY' (dimensions of print roughly six inches by eight). Two pages of accompanying text describe 'THE ISLAND OF GUERNSEY'. Very good. ITEM THREE: two leaves of the Illustrated London News for week ending 29 August 1846, with illustration of 'HER MAJESTY'S VISIT TO GUERNSEY. - THE DEBARKATION.' (dimensions of print roughly six inches by nine). Accompanying a quarto page of text describing 'HER MAJESTY'S VISIT TO GUERNSEY.' Very good, with small stain in bottom left-hand corner of first leaf (not affecting text or image). ITEM FOUR: two quarto leaves of the Illustrated London News for the week ending 12 September 1846, containing two half-page illustrations of 'HER MAJESTY'S LANDING AT "VICTORIA PIER," JERSEY.' and 'WAITING FOR THE ARRIVAL OF THE QUEEN, ROYAL SQUARE, JERSEY.', together with two smaller illustrations of ''THE QUEEN PASSING ST. MARK'S CHURCH, JERSEY.' and 'MONT ORGEUIL, JERSEY.' Account of 'HER MAJESTY'S VISIT TO JERSEY. FROM SKETCHES BY OUR OWN ARTISTS.' covering the rest of the two quarto pages. Very good, with tax stamp in one margin (not affecting text or image). ITEM FIVE: engraved vignette of 'St. Peter Port from Hougue a la Perre, Guernsey | London J. Harwood 26 Fenchurch St. 30 June 1835 No.421'. Dimensions of print roughly four inches by two and a half. Possibly cut from book, and with remains of mount adhering to reverse, which bears two lines of poetry in a contemporary hand. Slightly grubby, and with slight show through. ITEM SIX: undated vignette of 'St. Peters Port & Castle Cornet Guernsey | Drawn by Louisa Lane. Pub. by H. Redstone Engd. by J. Newman 50 Bridge Row. London.' (dimensions of print roughly five and a half inches by three). Possibly cut from a book. Mounted on larger piece of paper. Slightly grubby and with show-through of writing in contemporary hand from reverse.
