He writes that he will be 'glad to receive your future contributions', but that 'a different style of annotation would make them more interesting to the general reader. - To the possessors of Henderson your remarks will be useful and interesting; but the article is not one to be read throughout by those who do not possess Henderson's work'. He suggests that 'a better plan would be to take a definite prophecy, print the whole of it with corrections or marks'.

Internally fair, on aged paper, in worn wraps. Ownership inscription on flyleaf of 'John Hutchinson | October 1850'. Thirteen line note by Hutchinson on rear flyleaf, concerning the Bowes family, and further manuscript notes by him on pp. 13, 17, 21 and 22. Slip of paper with another note by Hutchinson loosely inserted.
