1p., 4to. Bifolium. Addressed on reverse of second leaf to 'Monsieur Bennis a la librairie Anglaise Rue Neuve St Augustin No 99'. In fair condition, on aged and lightly-worn paper. He had believed that he had a reciprocal agreement with Bennis, allowing him to borrow 'quelques volumes du Cabinet Cyclopedia', but he has now learned that Bennis has, 'contre ordre', cancelled his 'demande de Carnets'. As a consequence, 'par reciprocité également', he is returning the four volumes that he last borrowed, and he asks him to close his account.

On one side of a piece of 26 x 41 cm wove paper. The map printed in black ink within17 x 21 cm ruled border, with the caption 'Sketch of the Battle of Sobraon' above the border, and the publication details beneath. The British troops, at the foot of the map, coloured in pink and the Sikh troops, at the head, in green, with a tiny dab of the green watercolour in the margin to the right. In fair condition, on aged and creased paper, with small closed tear to margin in top left-hand corner. 'Note' in bottom left-hand corner, relating to troop numbers, and guns and 'Camel Swivels' captured.

12mo, 1 p. Good, on lightly aged paper. Asking Pingard, as Secretary of the Institut de France, to convene a meeting of the members of the 'Section de Géographie et Navigation'. Postscript: 'P.S. Je suis, connais vous, près <?> une Jambe.'

Envelope, c. 4.5 x 3.5", foxed with small tears, but address, in pencil, clear,in Kropotkin's hand as follows: Peter Kropotkin / Viola / Bromley // Kent".
