Part III begins with a description of the 'Structure of Schools', other topics including 'Educational Trends', 'Educational Institutions for returned Overseas Chinese Students', 'Educational Institutions of Particular Security Interest to Malayan Students', 'Method of selecting Students for Admission to Colleges/Universities', with conclusions, 'Chart of the New Educational System' and bibliography. Part IV has headings including 'All China Federation of Democratic Youth (ACFDY)', 'CCP Branches in Educational Institutions', 'The China Communist Youth League (CCYL)', 'The Youth Vanguard Corp (YVC)' and 'Structure of a Students Association', with two charts showing the 'Structure of CCYL in an average middle/preparatory school' and 'large educational institutions and universities', and bibliography. Part V describes methods of indoctrination at the primary, secondary and higher levels, with bibliography. Sub-headings include 'CCYL Responsible for Directing Youth Activities', 'Political Lectures', 'Cultural', '"Red And Expert" Groups', 'Dissemination of Political Knowledge', 'School and Public Libraries', 'Criticism And Self-Criticism'. From the private papers of C. A. A. Nicol, who joined the Malayan Union Police Force in 1950, and served in the Royal Malaysian Police between 1957 and 1967, 'to assist in promoting and consolidating the successful transition to full independence.
