The typography is a curious mixture, with the heading in gothic, and the fourteen-line address and the rest of the text in sansserif. A decorative picture-frame border extends around the sides and foot. Ornate initial and vertical decorative band to left-hand margin of text. To the right of the names of the two signatories are Chinese characters.
