Inscribed on flyleaf: 'To my very dear Mother from her loving son Norman. August 10. 1909.' Loosely inserted are two newspaper cuttings, the first being a 30-line undated term report, and the second a Daily Telegraph obituary of the school's headmaster Sir John McClure.
