A nice collection of souvenirs of a very exciting and interesting tour. The West Indies did very well indeed, beating England in the test series 3-1. ONE: The signatures on four pieces of paper, laid down on green 8vo paper backing, with card carrying maroon and black logo of 'West Indies | 1963 | England'. All in good condition, lightly-aged. First, signature of 'G Sobers' written across 22.5 x 11.5 cm magazine photograph of Sobers at the crease. Second, signature of 'W Hall' across 8 x 5 cm magazine photograph of face of 'WESLEY HALL (Barbados), age 25.', with swollen left eye.

Both items in good condition, in worn wraps, on lightly-aged paper. The two journals give bright, pleasant accounts of the two trips. The author appears to be a British woman, whose husband is named Sidney. FIRST JOURNAL: 60pp., small 4to. Two pencil drawings. In 'Baberton spiral note book'. Two items (a guide to Tromsø Domkirke and a receipt) loosely inserted. The first entry reads: 'Arrived Bergen 1600 1/2 late owing to fog on way over. Also fairly choppy towards end of crossing. Oil trouble with ar so went to a Garage directed by young man who squeezed in amongst luggage.

40pp., 4to. Not paginated. In very good condition. Covers and centre-spread printed in colour on glossy art paper, otherwise in black and white. Profusely illustrated. The third page carries an introdcution by 'Mandy', reading: 'Two questions . . . . . remain unanswered despite the many thousands of words written about the Ward Trial. How do girls like myself move into High Society circles? And just how loose are the morals of certain Top People? | These are the questions I have set out to answer - not in any way to whitewash myself.

An attractive item, printed in black, blue and red on both sides of a piece of 40 x 56cm. paper, folded twice to make a 20 x 28cm. packet. In good condition, lightly-aged with a short tape stain on one edge. Four black and white photographs: two showing a smiling Reginald Maudling, with before/after captions 'At the inauguration of the City Computer Centre, the Chancellor of the Exchequer presses the button and starts the Reader/Sorter . . .' and '. . .
