She is especially pleased that he has agreed to speak at 'our meeting', as the League is 'always so anxious to have our meetings all-party ones - this one more especially so'. The theme of the meeting is the role of the Poles in the Second World War, and she describes the plan of the meeting, which is to include a speech by 'Major Beamish' on 'conditions in Poland'; and a resolution by the Dean of Chichester ('our Vice-Chairman'), seconded by 'Mr. O'Brien M.P. (Labour)'.

49 photographic prints, laid down on 48pp. of a small (16.5 x 13 cm) contemporary 4to album, quarter-bound with brown leather spine and brown cloth boards, with yellow endpapers. No captions: the only manuscript in the volume being the ownership inscription of 'Sybil M. Hubert | 1883' on the front free endpaper. A fragile survival: aged and discoloured, with occasional staining from damp, which also caused some of the photographs to stick to one another, with slight damage occurring on their being detached; binding also in poor condition, with boards detached and leaves loose.

2pp., 12mo. Fair, on lightly-aged paper. He thanks her for her letter and announces a date on which 'your two sisters your daughter and yourself' can 'dine with my sister and myself at The Hill, Hampstead'. He expects that his niece 'Miss Emily Paul' will be staying with him at that time. He ends by saying that if the hour of the dinner is too early for Mrs Kennedy-Fraser's 'afternoon engagement', it can be altered to 'whatever time is most convenient for yourself'.
