P.3 is headed 'World's Peace Congress' and lists the organisations officers, including among the 23 Vice Presidents William Cullen Bryant and the Rev. Henry Ward Beecher. An extract from a letter of endorsement by Harriet Beecher Stowe is on p.14, and John Stuart Mill is among the 'absent friends' named on p.15. Five copies on COPAC, and eight copies on OCLC WorldCat.

The last two pages (11 and 12) are by Shanks, dated 'Boardmills, September 12, 1861. Scarce: no copy in the British Library, and the only copy on WorldCat is at the University of Texas.
