One page, 12mo, grubby but text clear and complete. I enclose you a catalogue of my publications - & beg to observe that I shall be willing to make an exchange for some of your Maps & plans to the amount of [?] or [on?] the pounds.

12mo, 2 pp. Nine lines. Text clear and complete. Addressed by Churchill on reverse of the second leaf, with red wax seal, and his frank: 'Witney Dec. thirty one 1826. | Mr. Faden | Map Seller | Charing Cross | London. | [signed] Churchill'. On aged and lightly-creased paper, with a spike hole. Asking Faden to 'send him a small Case map of Gloucestershire, as soon as possible', directed to him by 'Pratt's Gloucester Coach, to be left at Witney'.

4to, 1 p. Nine lines. Text clear and complete. On aged, creased and worn paper. He asks Wilde to send, by a Leicester coach, 'the four Sheet Map of Spain published by the late Mr. Faden, fitted into a travelling Case, to Lord John Scott, Aylestone', billing Montagu 'at Dilton Park near Windsor'.

8vo: vii + 168 pp. Complete. A tight copy, on aged and dusty paper. In remains of brown cloth binding, with spine chipped and covers detached. With the bookplate and 21 June 1884 accession stamp of the Public Free Libraries, Manchester, to whom it was 'Pres[ented]. by Messrs. Walch Bros. & Brichall' on reverse of title. No other stamps. Binder's stamp of Charles Winstanley of Manchester. The cloth-backed fold-out coloured map is approximately 50 x 40.5 cm. Titled 'Tasmania' and 'Compiled and drawn by Leventhorpe Hall January 1884.' Printed by 'R.

Approximate dimensions 37 x 35 cm. Cloth backed and divided into twelve rectangles of 12 x 8.5 cm each, arranged in three rows of four. The folded map fits into a contemporary pouch, crudely made for the purpose from card and marbled paper, with a signed label on the front reading 'A Map of England with the Roads | C. H. Patesson <?>'. On aged paper and with the edges of the rectangles curling slightly, in worn pouch. Scale roughly forty miles to an inch and three eighths. Shows cities, boroughs, market towns, villages and roads.

One page, 8vo, minor stains, good condition, text clear and complete. He explains the arrangement that was made for him to get a copy of a book ("la geographe de Mr. Mattebrun" on the account of M. Buisson). He asks for the volume to be consigned to the "porteur" with a second copy to which he has subscribed.
