One item with date 'May 1893'. All twelve items on stationery of the Pacific Steam Navigation Co., including eight 'Soundings' forms, filled in 'For Chief Engineer', signed 'Alex Hattrick', and dated 25 March and 2, 7, 8, 11, 18, 24, 29 June [1893?] One item with date 'May 1893'. The twelve items in fair condition, on lightly aged and worn paper. Charmingly-executed in a naive style.

8vo: vii + 168 pp. Complete. A tight copy, on aged and dusty paper. In remains of brown cloth binding, with spine chipped and covers detached. With the bookplate and 21 June 1884 accession stamp of the Public Free Libraries, Manchester, to whom it was 'Pres[ented]. by Messrs. Walch Bros. & Brichall' on reverse of title. No other stamps. Binder's stamp of Charles Winstanley of Manchester. The cloth-backed fold-out coloured map is approximately 50 x 40.5 cm. Titled 'Tasmania' and 'Compiled and drawn by Leventhorpe Hall January 1884.' Printed by 'R.

12mo, 4 pp. Good, on lightly aged paper, but with a thin strip along the outer edge of the second leaf of the bifolium with glue staining from previous mounting, and a 3.5 x 0.5 piece missing at head causing damage to one word ('hers'). Otherwise text clear and entire. Cust's aunt has informed him 'that she has at present in her possession in London all the papers belonging to Sir John Cust that remain'. She does not however think that they contain much about Wilkes.
