He was attended in his illness by 'Mr. Quain of 32 Cavendish Square', and he 'liked him much. But it was many years ago, and I forget what I wanted him for. But he was sensible & business-like.' He and his wife would have called on him 'as we came up from the Lubbocks', but she was 'too tired by two very busy days, when it came to the time'.
