Parts 19, 21, 24-31, 35, 37-39, 42-47, 49-55, 57, 60-65, 67-72. Internally in good condition, on aged paper with occasional creasing. In brown printed wraps generally in good condition (worsening as the run proceeds), but with particular damage to three parts: Part 64 has stained wraps, with half of the back cover lacking; Parts 68 and 72 have stained and damaged wraps. The periodical, which ran from 1872 to 1884, was an extraordinary achievement on Burgess's part, and not cheap to produce: a year's subscription for twelve issues cost the not-inconsiderable sum of £2.

3pp., 12mo. Good, on lightly-aged paper. Blanchard and his wife 'very seldom go out of a Sunday but should the weather be at all favourable' they will 'make a vigorous effort to avail ourselves of the strong temptation you have so kindly thrown in our way'. They will be 'quite content with an afternoon ramble in your beautiful garden and a chat with dear Mrs. Keeley'. He is sending 'impromptu lines written by my father nearly a Century ago' (not present) that he believes ought to be in Burgess's possession 'as a double ancestral inheritance'.

Printed in blue, pink, green, gold, white, yellow, brown and purple on one side of a piece of tissue paper roughly 34.5 cm square. Good, on lightly creased paper with a little wear to extremities and slight loss to the top left-hand and bottom right-hand corners (not affecting the design). The text, with an engraved portrait (5.5 x 4.5 cm) of Lord Mayor Ritchie, is printed in blue in two columns of around 32 lines each, and surrounded by coloured decorative border of flowers, around 6 cm thick. It lists the order and route of the procession. An attractive piece of ephemera.

An unusual, scarce and frail survival. Printed on one side of a piece of tissue paper, roughly 35 cm square. Surprisingly well preserved: heavily creased, with some wear to extremities, one small hole (not affecting text or image) and one closed tear of approximately 4 cm to coloured border.
