The year is written within the loop of the 'y' of Kennedy's signature.

Good, on lightly-aged paper, with light contemporary staining to second leaf, from which the seal has been cut away. Reports the view of 'Mr. Eliot' on the idea that Everett 'desired to be on the staff of instructors at Harvard'.
