Good, in original brown-paper sleeve with white printed 7 x 27 cm label. On thick black vinyl with white printed labels on both sides. The disc is numbered TLO.54460-2. The record is in a transparent polythene sleeve stamped in red 'B.B.C. RETURN RECORD TO SLEEVE'. It would appear that this recording of Murrow's interview was produced for distribution to the British (European?) press. No other copy of this item traced.

12mo, 8 leaves opening to make seven sets of columns running across seven pairs of facing pages. Stitched, and within original yellow printed wraps, with rough cloth weave. Lightly aged and worn, but in good condition overall, and free from any manuscript entries (i.e. not filled in). The front wrap is headed by a governmental crest, and carries eleven lines of text. Five lines of text, and the slug, on the back wrap ('The Officers engaged in the discharge of their duties under this Ordinance shall not disclose, except to the Governor, or in due course of law, the name of any Depositor.').

12mo, 3 pp. Good on lightly-aged paper. He has 'written to the necessary authorities' about his correspondent's son. 'Of course it will largely depend on which Slade [Lt-Gen. Frederick George Slade (b.1851), C.B.] says about him, as I do not know your son personally - though his record reads an exceptionally good one.' He is sorry to hear about his correspondent's brother's death: 'he was always very kind' to Rundle.

Editor (1857-1921) of the manuscript newspaper 'Congo Mirror', who 'drew attention to irregularities in Congo Free State, 1886; [...] and accused Congo officials of murders and atrocities; with help he carried on the agitation until the Congo Reform Association was formed; in a series of letters to the African Mail entitled the Lower Congo he pointed out the injustice of the French rule and the concessionnaire system in Congo Francais' (Who's Who). Three pages, 12mo. On grey paper. Very good. Docketed in pen and green pencil.

2 pages, dimensions roughly five inches square. Grubby and discoloured. The heading 'Debentur -' is followed by six short lines of abbreviated Latin ("Annuitat", etc.) and 'Add Tow ye Civil List since Michas 1715 | Ex Recordr. 4o. Aug 1716.' Verso reads 'Augt 1716 | full Contents of this Debentur', followed by the five signatures: 'Edw. Hayman', 'J Jekyll', 'E Jekyll', 'Cha: Cocks' and 'Mary Cocks'. Joseph Jekyll (see DNB), Master of the Rolls, his wife Elizabeth, daughter of Lord Somers (family name Cocks as other signatories).
