Printed in a single column on one side of a piece of 64 x 15 cm piece of paper. Aged and worn, with a couple of holes at head causing loss to eight lines of text. Full heading in manuscript: 'On occasion of the reading of a paper on "the Imperial Institute & its advantages to India" by General Sir Orfeur Cavenagh K.C.S.I. before the East India Association. Sir Richard Temple in the chair'.

The three volumes in folio, in their original printed blue wraps. First Report: viii + 364pp. With fold-out table. Second Report: viii + 276pp. Final Report: x + 157pp. All three aged and worn, with the final signature and back cover of the First Report detached, and the Final Report lacking its back cover, and with front cover detached and damage to last few leaves. Second Report with withdrawn label of Owen College, Manchester. The three volumes all 'With Minutes of Evidence and Appendices'. Containing an enormous quantity of information within the minutes and supporting material.

Moody notes that the first three Times articles (7, 10 and 14 March) 'were quickly reprinted in pamphlet form (price one penny)', but makes no mention of the present item. On both sides of single 60.5 x 47.5 cm leaf (on wove paper with 1887 watermark of 'The Times Taverham Mill'). Folded four times to make a packet with 15 x 12 cm title, which reads in full: 'Parnellism and Crime.

In illustrated coloured printed wraps, with the front cover showing a farmyard scene, and the back cover carrying a portrait of 'H.R.H. the Prince of Wales | President of the Royal Agricultural Society of England, 1886. | President of Indian and Colonial Exhibition, 1886.' The double-page chromolithograph, between pp.16 and 17, is titled '"Since we were boys together." From a painting by A. W. Holden', and shows two eighteenth-century gentlemen, seated at a table, drinking and reminiscing.

Printed in letterpress on one side of a 28 x 22 cm piece of laid paper. In good condition, lightly aged. Tastefully printed in the customary mixture of fonts and point sizes.
