Subjects include: his 'tremendous victory' over 'the building of the new geological museum'; a party celebrating the 25th anniversary of his appointment as Woodwardian Professor, 1898 ; Queen Victoria's Diamond Jubilee celebrations, London 1897; various college heads and university figures; Gladstone and Home Rule; the Welsh Suspensory Bill; family news. Printed in black on both sides of a 36 x 53 cm piece of wove paper with watermark of 'W F & Co'. In very good condition, lightly-aged and folded three times. The 'Key Plan' is on one side, showing the disposition of the fleet on a map of the Portsmouth area, with a note of 'Foreign Men of War', 'British Battle Ships and Cruisers', '3rd Class Cruisers Gun Vessels and Torpedo Gunboats', 'Special Merchant Vessels', 'Destoryers & Gunboats' and 'Torpedo Boats'.

In very good condition, on the usual card mount. Each of the two prints roughly 8 x 7.5 cm, with curved top corners, the two on an 8.5 x 17.5 cm. mount. Showing the queen's carriage processing before a grandstand of onlookers in front of a fine building (in the Mall?). The photographs taken over the heads of a crowd held by by three rows of policemen (in the foreground). Caption in English, French, German, Spanish, Swedish and Russian printed on the reverse of the mount.

Both items bound together in nineteenth-century worn brown-cloth 8vo binding, with 'THE JUBILEE 1827' in gilt on the spine. Ownership inscription on front pastedown of the actor and theatrical writer Hallam Fordham, dated Oxford 1942. Printed in letterpress on one side of a 28 x 22 cm piece of laid paper. In good condition, lightly aged. Tastefully printed in the customary mixture of fonts and point sizes. In fair condition, on lightly-aged paper, with the envelope with one small tear in the flap. The cover of the envelope carries designs in light blue printed by Thomas De La Rue & Co, including 'The North Mail making for Highgate, 1790, at 8 miles an hour' and 'The North Mail, 1890, approaching Carlisle at 48 miles an hour'. It is addressed by Tuer himself to 'And: W.

6pp., folio. Disbound. In fair condition, on aged high-acidity paper, with a few short closed tears to edges. Title leaf (with 'Price 1d.') carrying 'Table of Contents' on reverse; followed by three pages of transcripts of letters (paginated 1-3); with the reverse of the final leaf carrying the details of the pamphlet for display on its being folded into a packet. The correspondence relates to the Mission of Cardinal Rampolla, travelling from the Vatican to England to present the Pope's congratulations on the fiftieth anniversary of Queen Victoria's accession to the throne.
