22 items, comprising an unbroken run of 19 issues from 1912 to 1930, together with the issue for 1907, and a copy of the 'Report of the Jersey National & St. Helier's Parochial Schools. 1898-1899' (1900) and the 'Rapport de l'Inspecteur Médical pour l'Année 1916' (1917). In a sturdy green cloth box ('Supplied for the Public Service'). All with stamps, shelfmarks and labels of the Board of Education Reference Library. All 22 items are uniform 8vo booklets, stitched in pink printed wraps, ranging in length from 17 to 67pp.

The four items in their original wraps. All four in fair condition, on lightly-aged and ruckled paper, with slight evidence of damp. The collection of seven items is in fair condition, lightly-aged and with slight rust staining to a few pages. The material is from the archives of an Anglo-German firm of City of London stockbrokers (see the list of clients in Item One below, all with German names), and is valuable for the material it contains revealing the impact of the First World War on the firm's own business (see Item Two below, regarding the 'Enemy [i.e.

A unique authorial assemblage of excessively scarce items. The nine reports total 344 pp in 8vo. They are bound together (according to a manuscript note) by the Belgian binder Claessens [Art Nouveau binder], who received twenty francs (sixteen shillings) for the job. In brown calf, with marbled endpapers, tooled in black on front cover with Barron's monogram, including a boar and a hand, with the words 'BARRON | REPORTS ON BELGIUM, | 1866 | 1867, 1872, 1873, 1875, 1876, 1879, 1880-82, 1883.' Similar title stamped in black on spine.

Folio, 59 pp. Stitched. In original blue printed wraps. Good, on lightly-aged paper, in lightly-worn wraps. Title ends: '[...] by the Honorary Correspondents of their Commercial Intelligence Branch in those Colonies. Presented to both Houses of Parliament by Command of His Majesty.' Title-page carries shelf-mark and stamp of the Bibliotheque du Palais de la Paix. Scarce.

Folio, xiv + 499. Stitched. In original blue printed wraps. Text clear and complete. Internally good, on aged high-acidity paper. Front wrap (with small paper label in top corner) detached, and spine chipped.

44 pages. Folio. Unbound. In poor condition: first and last leaf fraying, torn and separated. An important document: a landmark in the history of environmentalism. The committee members were the Hon.
