28pp., 8vo. Letterpress printed in green and brown on thick grey paper; plates in full colour. Unbound and without stitching, leaving the seven bifoliums of the pamphlet loose. Worn and aged, but with plates in good condition (two with slight dogearing to one corner). A pencil note states that the illustrations are by Evelyn Paul, from 'Stories of Indian Gods and Heroes' (W. D. Monroe, 1911). Scarce: no copy on COPAC.

1p., 4to. Good, on aged paper. The letter (possibly addressed to the book's publisher) reads 'My dear Sir, | It would give me great pleasure to write for the "Liberty Bell," but I dare not at this moment say I could prepare anything in the time you mention. | Yours truly | [signed] S. Judd.'

Handbill, 20 x 25cm, laid down on another piece of paper, glue showing through in patches, mainly good. The first resolution commences That this Meeting has learned with surprise and regret of the violent expulsion of Victor Hugo and his fellow exiles from Jersey, without charge, without proof, and without trial . . . contrary to the spirit of the Constitution . . . right of asylum . . . trial by jury . . . anti-English . . . despotic ruler of a neighbouring country . . . The extract from the 'Parliamentary Debates' is 8vo, 12 pp (paginated 402-423), stapled and in original blue printed wraps. Grubby and dogeared, with light staining at head. Bound in at the front is Adams's 'Circular', which is a 4-page 8vo bifolium, printed by 'E. H. Williams (T. U.) Printer, 232 Devons Road, Bow, E.' Good, on lightly aged paper. Printed at the head of Adams's pamphlet is 'N.B. Copies of this Circular were seized by the police in a raid on the room occupied by Mrs.
