1p., 8vo. In fair condition, on aged and creased paper. The first name of the signature is difficult to decipher. She writes that she met Lynd 'some time ago at Mrs. Green's', and that she remembered her name 'when Mrs. Heseltine suggested it in connection with a vacancy which we have at present time at this office. | The vacancy is for a Press Writer, i.e.

Most of the photographs are 7.5 x 10.5cm in size, with the smallest 4.5 x 6.5cm and the largest 10.5 x 15cm. Loosely inserted in a 16mo album bound in green moire cloth. Both photographs and binding are in good condition, lightly aged and worn, with the occasional photograph with a dog-eared corner. Most of the photographs are captioned on the reverse, and seventeen are accompanied by captions on the pages of the album.

Both items in good condition, on aged high-acidity paper. The handbill is printed on one side of a piece of 30.5 x 19.5 cm. paper. The meeting is said to have been 'Presided over by Admiral The Lord Beresford, and there is a list of fifteen individuals by whom the resolutions were supported, beginning with 'J. Havelock Wilson, C.B.E., (President of the National Sailors' and Firemen's Union)' and 'Commander HOUGHTON, R.N.R. (Marine Service Associatio - Masters and Officers - Liverpool)'.

1p., 4to. Good, on lightly aged and creased paper. The recipient is tentatively identified as Nathan in pencil, and considering the reference to Africa his identity cannot be doubted. The book referred to is named in another hand as 'End of a chapter by Shane Leslie'. Her niece Dorothy gave her Leslie's book to read and then return to the recipient. 'I think it extraordinarily interesting, and do not feel at all so "superior" over it as Dorothy does!

1p., 16mo. Good, on lightly-aged and spotted laid paper. A few pencil calculations on the reverse. Neatly printed. Giving details for the three terms: Lent, Summer and Michaelmas, with dates for 'Pupils re-assemble', 'Opening Address to Pupils', 'Reading of the Reports and Closing Address' and 'Pupils leave'. These details are followed by the following notices: 'Parents are earnestly requested to co-operate with the School authorities in enforcing punctuality of attendance at the beginning and end of Term.

In fair condition, on aged paper, in aged and worn wraps, with occasional pencil markings in margins. An important catalogue, issued in part to make a point during the Great War.

On a piece of card roughly 14.5 x 7.5 cm. The signatures, in purple pencil on a somewhat-grubby side of the card, read 'Colonel Koltinsky | Count | Prince Obolensky | Count Nirod | Count Kapnist | Prince Dolgorouky'. The other side of the card, headed 'Menu', is stained, perhaps from mounting in an autograph album. It reads 'Rizoto aux ecrevises a la Victoria | Noiselle de boeuf a la Bordolaise | Haricots d'Asperges a l' [sic] Taltaise | Moscovite aux fraises ecrasees | Welch-Rabit. [sic] | le 8/VI - 20.'
