The pedigree is written out by Crisp on one side of a 37 x 95 cm piece of paper, folded twice into a 37 x 23.5 cm packet, printed on the front of which is: 'Visitation of England and Wales. | DRAFT PEDIGREE. | Please return to Frederick Arthur Crisp, F.S.A., "Grove Park Press," 270 Walworth Road, London, S.E.' The same address is embossed at the head. In good condition, on lightly-aged paper. In top right hand corner of cover is a manuscript label with 'JELLICOE.' underlined in red. The pedigree, descending from 'Capt.

In fair condition, aged and worn, with rusted staples and slight loss to wraps at foot of spine. Index at rear. The main body of the catalogue paginated 31-83, this being 'The Second Portion' of the sale of Broadley library.

56pp., 8vo. On aged, chipped paper, with slight damage at spine, rusted staples, and stamps of the Bibliothek Sporthochschule Köln. With loose damaged remains of brown printed wraps. Largely unopened. Berlin was selected as host city in July 1912, and preparations for the event began later in the year. Scarce. No copy found on COPAC, and of the ten copies on WorldCat, one in the IOC Library in Switzerland, five in Germany, one in Holland, one in France and two in the USA.

1p., 4to. Good, on lightly aged and creased paper. The recipient is tentatively identified as Nathan in pencil, and considering the reference to Africa his identity cannot be doubted. The book referred to is named in another hand as 'End of a chapter by Shane Leslie'. Her niece Dorothy gave her Leslie's book to read and then return to the recipient. 'I think it extraordinarily interesting, and do not feel at all so "superior" over it as Dorothy does!

4pp., 12mo. Bifolium. 61 lines, closely written in a crabbed, difficult hand. Good, on lightly-aged paper. He begins by thanking her for a book, before commenting: 'Things are in such a queer state in this country that it is hard to know what will happen. This Government is enough to drive one mad. They are afraid to do a thing until the Convention has come to some sort of compromise (which no party will accept). The Sin [sic] Feins will do their best to upset any recommendation the Convention may come to. You must remember there are the Ulster men (Royalists) Royalists [sic] from all parts.

4pp., 12mo, printed in blue and gold on card bifolium. Aged and with central horizontal fold, with glue from previous mount adhering to reverse of second leaf. Jellicoe's signature, in pencil at the head of the first page, reads 'Jellicoe | AF'. The menu is made out in manuscript to 'Mr John Morland'. Nine champagnes are listed, with their vintages, with eleven suitably-grand courses. 'Cigarettes Ed. Laurens | Les spécialités sont expliquées par le Docteur de Pomiane.

2pp., 12mo. On aged paper, with two ring-binder holes at the head of each leaf. Date stamp in purple ink. He asks for back numbers and future issues of 'The Marvels of the Age or Universe [sic]' to be sent 'to Master David Beatty Hanover Lodge Regents Park'. A postscript concerns 'the engraved Portraits'.

Landscape 12mo, 16 pp. Stapled. Printed on art paper. Text and all images clear and complete. Worn and aged, with closed tear to last leaf repaired with tape.

On aged high-acidity paper, in worn, chipped and faded wraps bound into new green wraps.Scarce: the National Library of Ireland does not appear to possess a copy. Essay on Pearse by O'Baronain; on Macdonagh by O'Neill; on Plunkett by Mc.Brien; on Macentee by Gregory; and 'Appreciation' of the first three poets by Clery. Preliminary note: 'The essays which make up this volume appeared originally in STUDIES.

One page, 4to. Good, but creased and with slight damage to reverse from caused by removal from mount. Despite signing 'Anon' the author has written her name and address at the head of the letter. 'Since sending you the two ancient Documents & two Autographs which you courteously acknowledged (816) I have found This Programme which was used by Queen Victoria on Feby 7th. 1891. It was given to me by a friend who was staying at The Old George Hotel, Salisbury & I enclose her letter which accompanied it.
