Signature 'W H Beveridge' following last line of printed text on reverse of first leaf, with initials 'Most cordially | W H B.' in top left-hand corner of first page.

12mo, 11 pp. Text clear and legible. On one side each of eleven leaves of lightly-aged paper, with slight creasing at foot of some leaves. The pages are numbered, and the article is incomplete, cutting off halfway through a sentence on p.11. An interesting and well-informed analysis, from an unashamedly pro-Japanese viewpoint.

The report is printed on three pages of a bifolium with leaf dimensions roughly 30 x 21 cm. In small print. Both text and plan clear and complete. Both plan and map carry the faint 1 cm accession stamp of the Webster Collection, numbered in manuscript 4899. A scarce piece of Australiana, on grubby and stained paper, archivally repaired and tipped-in to cream paper folder. Describes the situation of the townships and mines, whose yields, both on the surface and at depth, he gives.

Folio bifolium (dimensions of leaf roughly 32 x 20 cm): one page, with the reverse of the leaf and the whole of the second leaf of the bifolium blank. Unbound. Good, on lightly aged and creased laid paper with a Britannia watermark. Eighteen lines of text, mostly taken up with comments on the teaching at the College of Latin and Greek, followed by an 'Extract from the General Report transmitted to the Admiralty Office' with room for the Student's name, his date of admission, and progress in mathematics, English, Latin and Greek, History and Geography, French and Drawing.

8vo: 129 pp + 3 pp of advertisements at end, followed by fold-out map in black, red and blue, 'Published by Directorate of Colonial Surveys'. Four pages of plates at centre, consisting of eight photographs. In original buff printed wraps. The book very good on discoloured high-acidity paper, with map and plates very good on better paper. Scarce.

One page, folio, staining and other defects but text legible and complete, as follows (spelling adjusted): "This day the [Sephard?] and Forester arrived here with four ships from Ginny [Virginia] and two from the West Indies bound for London - the Eagle [for "Egell] now in the sound, notwithstanding teh Extreem of weather, the Guernsey in [Catwater] Expecting Cables for her security as [lost], by my last to yor. Hons.
