Written out in black ink, in two or three different hands, with the granting of credit recorded in red. Containing a mass of information about local history, product and price. Early entries are stamped with date, later entries have date written out.

The six items in very good condition, lightly aged. ONE: 'Trade List' by 'Henry Stone & Son, Wholesale Stationers and Box Manufacturers, Banbury', for 'Wedding Cake Boxes'. Printed in green on one side of a piece of 25 x 18.5 cm cream paper. At head are engravings for 'No. 21, with Tabs' and 'Nos. 27 and 28, Orange Blossom Design'. Numbers, names, dimensions and prices are given for six 'White Satin Watered Paper, with Lace Flies', and two 'Special New Design | Orange Blossoms on a Silver Ground'.

One page, 8vo, good condition. [J. York] "Gent[leme]n | Please favour me with a reply to my application to publish extracts from Old Curiosity Shop for use with Magic Lantern. I fear it has escaped your notice." Frederic Chapman has added his note to the foot of the page, "If you acknowledge that you have our permission as you did before, you may publish the Extracts."

A native of Scotland, Burton set up a china business in Falmouth in 1862, but soon turned to the sale of unusual items from around the world, purchased from sailors, his shop acquiring an international reputation and royal patronage. Printed on one side of a piece of pink paper, 38 x 25.5cm. A frail survival, on aged and worn high-acidity paper, with loss and chipping to the margins, and a few closed tears, but with the text complete.

8vo, 52 pp. In original black and white printed wraps, with solarized face on cover. On aged paper, with rusted staples and wear to wraps, which have minor damp staining at head causing sligh bloom to first three leaves. One of 750 copies: 'Number 9 of the "OUTCAST" Series of Chapbooks issued by Oscar Bardinsky at the Alicat Book Shop'. A scarce item by influential American avant-garde filmmaker and theorist.

Paper dimensions roughly ten and a half inches by eleven and a half; print dimensions eight and a half inches by ten and a half. Aged and with three inch strip, roughly half an inch wide, torn away from surface of print in top left-hand corner. Depicts a crowded and rather grand hall, containing a long horseshoe-shaped table around which are crowded connoisseurs of both sexes contemplating engravings and illustrated books or engaged in discussion. Arti et Amicitiae is an Amsterdam society of artists and art lovers, founded in 1839.
